ACTS Retreats spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among Catholic communities. The goals of an ACTS retreat are to strengthen our faith, to renew ourselves spiritually and to build lasting friendships.
The retreat is presented by lay people and spiritual direction is provided by clergy. Talks and activities during the retreat focus on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are the guides for the retreats. The retreat is open for adults age 18 and older.
These four themes are the main focus of the retreat:
ADORATION
Adoring Him and turning to Him in prayer every day of our lives.
COMMUNITY
Realizing that we are all members
of the Body of Christ.
THEOLOGY
Embracing the Holy Scripture and teachings of our Catholic Faith to deepen our relationship with God and understand His will for us.
SERVICE
Serving our family, our church, our community and sharing what God has given for this purpose.
