Parish Children's Choir
Group 1: Grades 2-4 Rehearses Wednesdays 3:12 p.m.- 5:00 p.m., Meet in Cafeteria after school
Group 2: Grades 5-8 Rehearses Wednesdays 3:35 p.m.- 5:00 p.m., Meet in Cafeteria after school
NOTE: Students from schools other than St. Monica may arrive when they are able.
This group allows the young members of St. Monica Parish and School to prepare and lead music in a Sunday Mass. The singers learn a wide variety of music from all time periods. In rehearsals the students learn fundamentals of singing and music and fundamentals of liturgy, as well as preparing for Sunday Masses. Both Children's Choirs will sing primarily at the new 12:30 p.m. Sunday Mass at St. Monica.
