Right of Christian Initation of Adults (RCIA)

It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

Answering the Call of God's Voice

Preparation for and the reception of the sacraments of initiation, Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist (First Communion) are conducted through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program.

RCIA is the rite of full union with the Roman Catholic Church.  Both, the never before baptized and the baptized (Catholic and other Christian denomination) are provided formational guidance.

After a period of preparation and discernment (usual a year) the initiation rite is administered as the Easter Vigil held Holy Saturday at dust.

As part of the process those married civilly or by another faith tradition will participate in marriage convalidation (The Blessing of the Marriage) as witnessed through the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
