Nedra (Stein) Rideau was born in a small East Texas town. She is the oldest girl of 8 children with three sisters and three brothers. She grew up in the Dallas area, graduated from Irving High School and attended El Centro College where she earned an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. Nedra worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T in the Marketing Department for eighteen years.
After being downsized with AT&T in 1991, Nedra began work at Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland, Texas as a PreSchool teacher (3yr olds). When the secretary retired, she became the School Secretary. In 1998, Nedra moved to St. Monica Catholic School as Secretary to the Dr. Joan Wagner, Principal. In 2000, she left St. Monica along with Dr. Wagner to establish a new high school in Plano, John Paul II. In 2002, Nedra returned to St. Monica in the business office where she is responsible for Parish Accounts Payable/Receivable - in short she pays all the bills for the church and school.
For 30 years she has been married to Michael Rideau and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren ages six and four. Her hobbies are spending quality time with her family, traveling, and enjoying the grand children.
