Retreats and Mission Trips

Retreats and special events are a wonderful way to build our community and grow in our faith. We have a high school retreat each year in addition to our Confirmation retreat. We also host lock-ins for high school youth and organize scavenger hunts, spring flings, and other community building events throughout the year for all grade levels. We participate in World Youth Day at Six Flags in October and also attend Regional and National Catholic Youth Conferences.

Cleared parents are needed for these events.

Incoming 7-12th graders and graduating seniors of 09'are invited to join in "Mission Possible" 2009 service week with participants from all around the Dallas Diocese….because YOU ARE BEING CALLED!!!

Mission Possible is an Inter-parish, diocesan supported, in town service week.  Each summer our Catholic Community has been blessed to have over 900 participants who are willing to brave the heat and SERVE!!!  Tasks can very from working outside to visiting Children Hospitals and visiting the elderly. 

The week of service will begin with a Youth Rally and Mass as St. Joseph's in Richardson.  The rest of the week we will be meeting at St. Monica Church and will remain at the St. Monica service site each day, as we are joined by teenagers with special needs from the Plano Parks & Recreation Center and their staff members.  The afternoon program will be spent sharing in recreational experiences, new challenges and socialization in a safe environment.
