St. Monica Youth Ministry

• To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
• To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
• To foster their personal and spiritual growth in the community.

(Renewing The Vision, USCCB, 1998) The St. Monica Youth program is based on the goals, themes, and components of comprehensive youth ministry with adolescents as outlined in Renewing The Vision, a document created by the United States Council of Catholic Bishops in 1998.  St. Monica Youth is a highly interactive and participatory youth program for all young people at St. Monica Catholic Community in grades 6th-12th. Our young people are always encouraged to invite friends from other churches or faiths to share this experience with them. Through the use of music, group meetings, retreats, community outreach, service projects, leadership training, small faith groups, participation in parish liturgical ministries, and social and sporting events we hope to draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
