Soprano II
AliceAnn Kaericher is a Dallas-based arts educator. She is currently the Director of Theatre and Dance at Solar Preparatory School for Girls in Dallas and previously taught choir for four years. In 2017, she became a Soprano Section Leader at St. Monica Catholic Church. During her time there, she has participated in many arts performances, including Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, and The History of Broadway in 90 Minutes. She has her bachelor degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas where she specialized in early music, oratorio, and vocal pedagogy.
Alto I
Sydney Palomo is a graduate student at Texas Christian University studying vocal pedagogy. She graduated from Texas Christian University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in Sociology. Throughout her undergraduate career, she was granted various performance and academic opportunities that broadened her knowledge of music education and its importance within our society. Sydney is a major advocate for social justice, mental health, and vocal wellness and believes that music is a channel for self-expression and serves as a vehicle to convey and promote prevalent social messages in our efforts to create a better world.
Alto II
A native of Fort Worth, TX, Zoe Mace is a junior Vocal Performance major at the University of Texas-Arlington and a student of Dr. David Grogan. She has performed with a wide variety of ensembles throughout the metroplex and is currently the Alto II Section Leader at St. Monica Catholic Church. She runs a small studio for private vocal lessons, as well as a babysitting business. As she finishes her undergraduate career, Zo ehopes to explore further her passion for vocal performance, especially in early music and jazz.
Tenor I
Praised for his wonderfully dynamic and versatile sound, countertenor Graham Day actively presents opera, oratorio, and song repertoire alongside contemporary works in a seamless harmony. Having served in worship ministry for more than 12 years, he currently sings as a section leader at St. Monica Catholic Church.
His compositions have been premiered and performed across DFW. His choral work The Wise Pale King won Verdigris Ensemble’s 2020 ION Composer Competition, and is expected to premiere in 2022. As a record producer and session musician, Graham has collaborated on many projects across Texas, whose styles range from contemporary worship to rock, EDM, and pop.
Graham received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas, studying with internationally-acclaimed countertenor Daniel Bubeck. He studied choral music with some of the most renowned conductors in the U.S., such as Drs. Richard Sparks and Allen Hightower, performing in the university’s premier vocal ensembles, the A Cappella choir and Vox Aquilæ.
Tenor II
Jake Rodriguez is a Tenor Section Leader at St. Monica Catholic Church. He went to Texas Woman's University for a Bachelor's Degree in Voice Performance and a Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy. He has performed with the Fort Worth Opera Company's productions of Silent Night, Hamlet, JFK, Carmen, Maria de Buenos Aires and more. He has also performed The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and with several opera companies and churches in the metroplex. He is currently the Head Choir Director at North Side High School in Fort Worth, TX.
Baritone
With over 85 roles in his repertoire, Corey Trahan is an active performer, educator and stage director in opera, oratorio, music theatre, operetta and recital venues. Known for his comic timing, versatile voice, and onstage charisma, he is being seen and heard internationally in repertoire ranging from operatic classics to modern musical theatre. In addition to performing, Corey was the Biedenharn Endowed Chair in Music at the University of Louisiana, Chair of Music Theatre at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand and an Associate Professor of Theatre/Coordinator of Musical Theatre at Northwestern State University. Currently, Corey is on the voice faculty at T.C.U. and part of the music ministry at St. Monica Catholic Church.
Corey's academic degrees include the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Texas, the Master of Music degree from the University of Houston and the Bachelor of Music degree from Louisiana State University.
