The mission of Senior Connection is to unite our parishioners 55+ in fellowship, social activities, and our Catholic spirituality.
On the second Wednesday of the month (September-May), we enjoy a catered lunch in the Family Center and listen to a speaker talk on a subject of interest to the group.
When additional activities are scheduled, they are announced via email to members and in the parish bulletin.
If you are not already a member who receives our emails, please watch the church bulletin for info on our “Second Wednesday” luncheons and how to RSVP. We invite you to connect with fellow parishioners and consider becoming a member! Dues are $20/YR and include the monthly lunch. Always feel free to reach out with questions or comments by sending an email to [email protected].
Senior Connection Goes to the Movies!
“Return to Me” follows an unlikely love story starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver as two strangers whose lives intertwine in a delightful blend of emotions, humor, and charm. Their heartwarming story plays out against an Irish-Italian bar and lovely locations in Chicago and Rome. A strong supporting cast (Carroll O’Connor, Robert Loggia, Jim Belushi, Bonnie Hunt) portrays entertaining and memorable characters. Adding to the charm is a wonderful ‘Standards’ soundtrack (think Dean Martin). Released in 2000, the movie garnered praise from audiences and critics, and is sure to put a smile on your face and a song in your heart!
